ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rasheena Harris is the wife of Dr. Marcellus Harris III, and mother of two amazing children, Marlinda, eleven, and Marcellus IV, nine. Rasheena received her master’s degree in Education in 2005. She is a Qualified Mental Health Professional for children and adults through the Virginia Board of Counseling. Currently, Mrs. Harris serves as the Executive Director at a therapeutic foster care agency where she oversees several programs and staff members. She serves as a director on the board for The Heart of Giving and the Peninsula Agency on Aging, as commissioner for the Newport News Human Rights Committee, and proudly as a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. since 2006.
Rasheena is a God-fearing, transparent mover and shaker who is committed to touching as many lives as possible through community work and servant leadership. She is also committed to displaying God’s power through her own living example, confirming that you can live out your calling no matter where you are from or what you come up against. She loves supporting and empowering individuals to stay the course to fulfill their destiny. Rasheena is also working on her autobiography, which will be released in 2022.
