Nephateria McBride is a native of Aliquippa, PA but currently resides in Largo, MD. She is a minister, teacher, and writer; and is currently employed by the Department of Navy as an Audit Director. Nephateria is a member of REAL Women, an organization that creates safe spaces for women to do personal development work on themselves; grow their confidence; and become catalysts of positive change in their lives and the lives of others.
Nephateria is thankful that God has turned her messes into ministry to advance His Kingdom. Although she has accomplished many things in her life, she understands that without God she is absolutely nothing. She is passionate about living an abundant life in Christ, being healthy (mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually) and is committed to helping others do the same. Therefore, in August 2019, Nephateria embarked on a new journey to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her goal is to help people understand that it’s ok to have Jesus and a therapist, too! Of all the things discussed above, Nephateria is most proud to be the mother of two beautiful young ladies and grandmother of the most precious granddaughter ever!
