Myranda J. Harper is an enthusiastic Certified Nonprofit Accountant, auditor, tax preparer, and business owner of Harper Business Solutions, Inc. with a broad background in multiple industries. She is an alumna of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and holds a Masters in Management: Human Resources Management and Masters in Accounting: Accounting Information Systems.
Myranda birthed Harper Business Solutions, Inc. (HBS) from a true desire to educate, empower and enlighten people and businesses. By seeing the disorganization and lack of processes, working with businesses through their struggles, comforting ones who have cried from frustration, and witnessing the thirst for knowledge and change, it was confirmed the firm could be a vehicle to aid in cultivating the tools, skills and abilities necessary for organizational mobility and operational effectiveness. consulting, doing accounting, tax preparation, or public speaking, she has a true passion for people to be educated; to be good stewards over what they have and to be fully supported to reach success. Myranda currently resides in Raleigh, NC with her family. She is the fiancé of Shawn Penn, the the mother to a precious girl, Riley, and has the best fur-kid (toy yorkipoo) ever, Arwen Brooke! They all keep her filled with joy and laughter! Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys spending time reading and being in the kitchen. She loves to cook and is amazing at it!
