ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Minister Leslie Billups has been involved in the dance ministry for nineteen years, and currently serves as the Team Administrator. She began dancing in July 2000 with Harmonious Voices for Christ Praise Dance Company under the leadership of Co-Pastor Alicia Dudley. Although she became interested in the ministry of Mime in 2008, it was not until 2010 that she began to truly accept the call of ministry that God has placed in her life.
Leslie decided to move on and further her studies of the Worship and Arts Movement by completing several courses through Eagles International Training Institute. Leslie currently serves as a staff member under Eagles International Training Institute as Mime Instructor, TEN Mime Director, TEN Regional and State Leader, as well as Site Leader.
Leslie obtained her Associates of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Kaplan University in December 2010, and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education & Special Education from Grand Canyon University in April 2016. Leslie is the proud founder of LB’s Locs and Braids. She is also a Senior Consultant for Thirty-One Gifts and is expanding her role in entrepreneurship.
Leslie’s favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know that plans I have for you, saith the Lord, Plans to prosper and not to fail. To give you hope and a future.” She believes and continues to have faith that God will give her total healing and all the desires of her heart. Leslie currently resides in Gloucester, Virginia, with her amazing husband of twenty years and has three talented and anointed children.
