ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Shonda Patrice Pittman-Windham was born and raised in the small, rural town of Tillery in Halifax County, North Carolina. She is an only child raised by a phenomenal single mom who is now her best friend and number one cheerleader. Shonda is married to her college love, Renoldo, and they have two amazing sons, Renoldo Jr. and Rian. She is an education administrator by day, but she is also an adjunct instructor, event planner, soccer and baseball mom, student advocate and lover of traveling and family.
