ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Courtney Griffin is a native of North Carolina, and currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida. She serves as an oncology chaplain and Supervisory Fellow at Baptist Medical Center. Prior to becoming a Chaplain, she honorably served for fourteen years in the United States Air Force. After her military service she employed her leadership skills in the retail market. She earned a Master of Business Administration from Saint Leo University, and a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Chaplaincy from Regent University.
Courtney holds ordination from the Rivers of Life Christian Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and ordination and ecclesiastical endorsement from The Evangelical Church Alliance. Throughout the years she has facilitated youth and adult bible study, served in the women’s ministry, and mentored future leaders.
Courtney is an amateur artist, like her mother before her. She utilizes art as a healing medium and to develop a deeper connection between the Creator and the created. She cultivated her love of art as a young child while visiting museums, taking art classes in school, and during her travels abroad as a young adult. She shares her gift of art by featuring her original art through an online gallery, commissioning serval paintings for personal collections, and showcasing her art in a North Carolina gallery.
Courtney is dedicated to a life of service; one that fosters hope, spurs creativity, encourages growth, and develops leaders.
